He was always in charge of prize distribution ceremonies of various functions during our time.

Under his stewardship, Prithviraj House was All Round Best House consistently for twelve consecutive years. His strategy to repeatedly pick up General Thimayya trophy included:

Identifying innate competencies of cadets in various fields and encouraging them in the arena of their strength. This made the task of selection for any event easy. Cadets were encouraged to practice for athletics from the start of the year. For co-curricular activities, cadets were picked and prepared well in advance and supported to do necessary research in the library. Every success was celebrated. This helped to strengthen the team spirit which supported the house motto “Union is strength“. ‘House Day’ was celebrated on July 22 every year as talents day. This also helped in selecting the best cadet for any given event. It also left the cadets with more time for academics. Corporal punishment was given as a last resort.

Very sad news, an excellent personality, teacher n mentor.

May God gives family strength to overcome this tragedy soon.

Om Shanti.
