It is indeed a matter of great pride and joy to place on record the laurels brought by our cadets to the school.
Vineet Kumar Malik of Rajaji House, the school topper secured 88.2% marks in the CBSE XII Board exam in March 2005 and Rakesh Raman of Tagore House secured 90.8% marks in the CBSE X Board exam in March 2005.
Extra Curricular Activities
NCC activities make the cadets strong mentally physically and emotionally. This also enables the cadets to develop their social behavior and kindles them to develop strong feelings of dedication and patriotism towards their motherland.
Anil Kumar Sharma NH, IX –B was adjusted the best cadet of the Junior Division Air Wing NCC camp in 2004.
Avinash Himanshu, SH IX-A was awarded the best cadet position during the Junior Division Naval Wing NCC camp held in the month August 2004.
During the Senior Division Army Wing camp held in August 2004, Military school Bangalore contingent emerged as the overall best contingent of the camp.
Fifty cadets from the school were enrolled in the Naval Wing (JD) and another fifty in the Air Wing (JD) for the year 2004-2005.
Four cadets from naval wing were selected for PRDC camp. Cadet Avinash Himanshu, SH, IX-A made the school proud by representing BMS in the RD camp of New Delhi in August 2005.
Our under – 16 hockey team has won the gold medal both at taluk and district level inter school hockey tournament. Four cadets of our under – 16 hockey team were selected for the state level competition, they are:

Cadet Vivek Kumar was selected as a number of Karnataka state Hockey team to play at the Nationals. The team stood third and Vivek Kumar was one of the main scorers of the team.
Our judo team has carved its niche in Karnataka by winning 8 gold medals, 4 silvers and 6 bronze medals in the state level judo championship held at Bangalore in September 2004. Eight cadets went on to represent Karnataka state at the nationals held at Goa.
Our young cricketers have added a feather to our cap by winning the friendly match against the visiting Sri Lankan under – 18 team. Apart from that they have been winning positions at various tournaments with local clubs.

In the Inter school Bhatia shield English debate competition, the school team was 3rd out of the 18 leading schools of Bangalore. Cariappa C.P of class XII was second in individual position among the 36 participants.
Change of Guard:
With the transfer of Lt. Col. Srish Kamboj on promotion to the North east, the order of heading the school changed to Lt. Col. S. Manohar from 16 July 2004.
Georgians have proved themselves to be second to none by occupying positions of great responsibility in various fields. Nine cadets have joined the NDA in July 2004. Four have joined the Merchant Navy, while ten have taken admission in engineering and other professional colleges.
The Pentangular meet, 2004-2005 was hosted by Military school Ajmer. After a close contest, our cadets secured second place in 3 events and 4th place in Volley ball and on the spot painting competition. Our contingent did their best and earned a good name at the meet for their excellent sportsman spirit. BMS stood overall second amongst the five Military schools after hosts from Ajmer.
POP (Passing Out Parade) and Annual Day Function
The Annual feature unique to Military school Bangalore was conducted with the usual pomp and show on 11 Dec 2004. Vice Admiral Raman Puri, PVSM, AVSM VSM, ADC, an Alumn of this very school was the chief guest. Mr. Mathau former Teacher from the school was a special guest of honor.

An enlightening Science and Art Exhibition displayed during the event attracted the attention of all the Guests programmes.
A Cultural evening with a variety of entertainment made the evening bright and cheerful and the Chief Guest of the evenings programme was Cmde MK Murthy; CMD Cochin Shipyard, yet another Alumn of the school.
Diamond Jubilee Celebrations
The school will complete sixty years of its existence next year and we intend to celebrate our Diamond Jubilee in a befitting manner. The celebrations are slated along with the POP in Dec 2006.
