Army conducts coaching classes for RIMC, Sainik Schools

Army inaugurated ‘Coaching Classes for one month duration for Military School, Sainik School and Rashtriya Indian Military College Entrance Exams’ at Doda.

The initiative was aimed at providing assistance and coaching to the aspirants to ensure admission of students belonging to poor and rural background in Sainik Schools and Military Schools.

Remote areas of Doda District lack facilities for education and it is a financial hurdle for poor students to attend coaching at private institutes.

There was therefore a need to guide the students as well as provide them with good education for their bright future. Mentoring and preparing students for school entrance exams have a far reaching effect in stabilizing the region by providing assistance in securing seats in reputated Military Schools, Sainik Schools and Rashtriya Indian Military College.

The project has received an overwhelming response from students and their parents as Army assisted students in filling of online and offline admission forms.
